It gives me great pride, and a real sense of privilege, to welcome you to Brayton Academy.
Over recent years, Brayton Academy has become one of the highest performing schools in North Yorkshire and has continued on it’s journey to become the school of choice for our local communities. Alongside our ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED judgement, we have improved our attainment and achievement levels year on year, and consistently achieved Progress scores that put us in the top 10% of schools nationally. This shows that we have had incredible success in ensuring that every child can achieve in our Academy.

We deliver an exceptional and innovative curriculum that combines the breadth of the national curriculum with a tried and trusted model of character development. Our ‘Resilience’ and Personal Development curricula ensure that all our young people have the knowledge and skills to become effective life long learners, and citizens our community can be proud of.
As with all academies in The Rodillian Multi Academy trust the traditional values of discipline, behaviour and respect are held in the highest regard. The primary driver for this is our Positive Discipline behaviour system and a comprehensive pastoral offer which ensures absolute clarity of rules and expectations, promotes pro-social behaviours, ensures that teachers are free to focus on subject delivery and providing all students with the support they required. Crucially, this also ensures our Academy is a wonderful place to learn.
