In the event that the Academy is closed due to bad weather or other exceptional circumstances, we will send a message via Edulink to our parents/carers. We will also place a clear pop up message on the home page.
In the event of a school closure in the middle of the day, we will attempt to:
- Request that school buses turn up early
- Send an Edulink message out to parents/carers.
If you are a parent/carer, could you please ensure you have set up your Edulink account so that we can contact you.
- In the event we are unable to contact a parent/carer, we will then try to arrange alternative provision, if possible.
We understand that it may be difficult for some students to be collected, and therefore contingency plans will be put in place to ensure that the Academy remains open until all students are collected.
Parents should continue to monitor the Brayton Academy website as it will be updated on a regular basis with the latest information.
